GRAYSON, GA – A man crashed into a tree and died on Tuesday evening when he lost control of his car while driving around a curve on Bennett Road.

Michael Baker, 52, was driving his silver vehicle on Bennet Road near Reserve Drive on May 19, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Around 6:00 p.m. Baker failed to follow a curve in the road and drove his car into a tree near the street.

Gwinnett police officers found Baker dead on the scene of the accident. They report that no other people or vehicles were involved in the crash.

Officials are still investigating the accident, at this time, to determine if speed or alcohol played a roll in the collision.
