Woman charged with intentionally causing crash in Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA – A woman appeared in court Wednesday to face charges of intentionally causing a fatal crash in Atlanta.

Fox 5 Atlanta reported Tityanna Y. Phillips was denied bond after being charged with felony murder in connection with the incident that killed her 3-month old son.

Police said Phillips rammed a pickup truck into a car being driven by the child’s father at about 7 p.m. Monday along Chappell Road and Eason Street. The car then crashed into a telephone pole and a tree.

The child, identified as Khyundre Henderson, died later at an area hospital. The father remained in the hospital Tuesday night, but no details were released on his condition.
