ATLANTA, GA — A vehicle accident late Tuesday morning closed the second left lane on the Interstate 75 and 85 Downtown Connector near midtown Atlanta, according to Triple Team Traffic.

The accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Downtown Connector near exit 249 to North Avenue and was reported at 11:54 a.m.
Motorists leaving midtown were told to expect slow movement.
At 12:08 p.m., the scene was reported to have cleared and all lanes were reopened. Delays still remained as traffic slowly picked up.
