ATLANTA, GA. – The eastbound lanes of I-285 were shut down for hours on Wednesday after a serious multivehicle crash.
According to CBS 46, the crash occurred at around 5:00 a.m. on I-285 near the intersection of Riverdale Road. While authorities have confirmed that several vehicles, including an 18-wheeler were involved in the crash, no further details have been released at this time. While at least one fatality has been verified, it is not yet known at this time how many people were involved or the identities of any of the victims.
