GWINNETT COUNTY, GA. – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Gwinnett County at Level Creek Road and Cabot Creek Way on May 23.
According to Fox 5 Atlanta, police and medics were called to the scene around 4:30 a.m. where they found the pedestrian, 23-year-old Young Woo Kim. Kim was then taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. The driver of the vehicle who hit Young said that he “darted into the roadway” and struck his vehicle; he is not facing any charges at this time.
Police are now investigating whether Young was under the influence at the time of the accident.
