ATLANTA, GA – An overturned semi crash blocked all lanes on eastbound I-285 at the Jonesboro Road exit (55) on Tuesday.

WSB Radio tweeted the semi crash occurred around 11:16 a.m. and injuries were sustained in the crash. Veronica Harrell, a reporter with WSB Radio, posted a video of the overturned semi crash in the right shoulder on I-285; however, it is still unclear if any other vehicles were involved in the crash. There appear to be a tow-truck and two other vehicles on the left shoulder.
Motorists were encouraged to use I-20 as all lanes were closed while authorities investigated and cleared the crash.
All lanes were cleared and re-opened around 12:34 p.m.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
