Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in Cobb County

COBB COUNTY, GA – Police responded to an accident that left a pedestrian dead in Cobb County Saturday night, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

62-year-old Anthony Robinson was struck at about 9:15 p.m. by a Toyota Camry that was headed west on Windy Hill Road toward Olive Springs Road. Robinson, a resident of Marietta, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the victim was not in a crosswalk at the time he was hit. No charges have been filed against the driver of the Camry, who was not injured in the accident.
