ALPHARETTA, GA – Georgia 511 alerted drivers to an accident snarling traffic on a highway in Alpharetta Thursday afternoon.
The incident was reportedly shortly after 1 p.m. on Georgia 400 northbound past Haynes Bridge Road, exit 9. The two right lanes were blocked along with the ramp from Haynes Bridge Road to Ga. 400.
In a tweet, the city of Alpharetta described it as “a serious injury crash” and said there was no estimated time for the roadway to be reopened.

Delays were reported through the area, and drivers were advised to use Highway 9 as an alternate route.
