ALPHARETTA, GA – Drivers were advised of a multi-vehicle crash that shut down a stretch of Georgia 400 in northern Fulton County Tuesday afternoon.
According to WSB Traffic, the incident in Alpharetta was reported sometime after 1:45 p.m. Georgia 400 southbound at Exit 8 for Mansell Road was closed, along with the Mansell Road ramp to the highway.
Highway 9 to Holcomb Bridge was recommended as an alternate route to get around the crash.
The scene was cleared about a half hour later and lanes were reopened. Alpharetta Police also warned motorists of other crashes Tuesday along side roads on Mansell Road and Haynes Bridge Road near North Point Parkway.
