CUMMING, GA – Road projects starting on Monday will have an impact on traffic in part of Forsyth County.
According to a report in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the work involves the replacement of a cross drain on Samples Road and bridge construction on Ga. 400.
Samples Road in the Cumming area will be closed to through traffic Monday through Friday from Parker Driver to 2925 Samples. Drivers are being advised that Nuckolls Road can be used as an alternate route between Buford Highway and Buford Dam Road.
For the bridge project, one inside lane of northbound Ga. 400 will be closed, affecting traffic at Pilgrim Hill Road. The work is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
