LIBERTY COUNTY, GA. –  Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Liberty County on Monday night.

The crash occurred at 11:00 p.m. on Monday night on East Oglethorpe Highway near Liberty County High School. According to WTOC 11, a pickup truck collided with a car in what a Georgia State Police spokesperson called a “high impact accident.” One of the victims was identified as Gerald Garner, a soldier at Fort Stewart, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, Willam Frasier, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
