LITHIA SPRINGS, GA – Three pickup trucks and a tractor-trailer collided on Friday afternoon in Douglas County, killing one woman in the crash.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. on May 22. A Chevrolet Silverado, a Chevrolet Avalanche, a GMC Sierra, and a tractor-trailer were all traveling south on Thorton Road near Veterans Memorial parkway.

Doris Hart, 67, hit two cars with her Silverado while moving to the center lane. The Silverado side-swiped the Avalanche and rear-ended the tractor-trailer. The force of the impact caused the tractor-trailer to then rear-end the Sierra.

Georgia State Patrol troopers pronounced Hart dead on the scene of the accident.

The other three drivers were not injured in the crash.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident, at this time.
